EnviroMentors is a student-student mentoring program developed by Project PUENTES aimed at promoting teamwork and enhancing the academic experience of primarily freshmen and sophomores. Through the special relationship between mentors and mentees, EnviroMentors strive to expose students to multiple cultural and educational resources that can complement academic life and ease the transition from high school to university and from university to career. The main goal of this program is to provide a support network for all environmental science students who need or can benefit from the assistance and advice only a fellow student can provide. Being a mentor is an enriching and rewarding experience for those who will pass along their knowledge and expertise to subsequent cohorts and generations of environmental science students. Help continue the tradition of the universal citizen while helping to tackle the environmental problems we all face - join us! The environment needs all the help it can get.
